If Miley Cyrus isn’t careful, she’s going to end up getting canned by Disney.

A photo was leaked of Miley with a group of friends, and in it she’s using her fingers to make her eyes slanted, a well-known gesture with racist undertones. Miley has half-apologized without really saying sorry, and has said that she was just making goofy faces at the camera and wasn’t intentionally making any racist jokes or slurs.

China isn’t convinced and has apparently banned Miley’s music, shows, movies, and products, and has banned her from entering the country.

A country as big and populated as China banning one of your top stars? Yeah, I’ll bet Disney is THRILLED with her right now.

Look, I get it, she’s young, we all do stupid things when we’re young, and it’s not fair that everything she does is so scrutinized, what if all our dumb/embarrassing moments were displayed for the whole world, blablabla. I know.

But Miley ALSO knows that she represents Disney and is a role model for young girls. She really needs to start being a little more careful, especially since she knows damn well that the photos she really doesn’t want the public to see always get leaked.

In the meantime, I hope Miley is working out a proper apology to China if she ever wants that ban lifted!
