Nicole Kidman channels her inner Mary Poppins on the red carpet for her new film, Australia with Hugh Jackman.

The premiere for Australia was, suitably, held in Sydney, Australia. Although the weather was not particularly co-operative for the actress, Nicole Kidman grinned and shone anyway with the help of a large umbrella to keep the rain off her short, white, fuzzy mini-dress.

I’m particularly loving the shoes. I am a big fan of people wearing red heels when you sort of expect white, brown, or black. They add a good splash of color.

I know a lot of people rag on Nicole for overdoing it with plastic surgery and/or Botox but I think she looks really great here!
