Oscar de la Renta will not participate in New York Fashion Week Spring 2008. The designer has confirmed that he has chosen an alternnative destination to showcase his Spring 2008 Collection; an old Christian Science church instead.

“Oscar de la Renta has shown with us for years and, though he will be missed, we wish him every success in his new location and look forward to welcoming him back to the tents very soon,”said a spokesman for IMG.
