Victoria Secret’s Angel Petra Nemcova has admitted that she starved herself early in her career in an effort to fit in. 

The supermodel tells Britain’s Closer Magazine:

 ”I may have curves now, but when I started it was in the middle of the heroin chic phase. The likes of Kate Moss and Jodie Kidd almost forced everyone to be really skinny. I tried many diets, from eating very little or just protein to having only fruit all day. It was terrible for my metabolism and took me years to recover.”
