Raymond Weil Sues Charlize Theron For Wearing Wrong Watch On Red Carpet

Oscar-winning actress is being sued for wearing the wrong watch on the red carpet.

Watchmakers Raymond Weil retained Char as a spokesmodel for their $7,000 Shine watches under the provision that she would wear the timepieces during red carpet event. Raymond Weil head honchos were livid when they spotted the blond sporting a rival Christian Dior piece at a film festival late last year.
Lawyers for R.W say: “If you’re the model for Ralph Lauren, you can’t show up wearing Gucci at the Academy Awards. She undercut our entire ad campaign.
“We spent a fortune on an ad campaign centred around her, then she goes off and makes us look silly in the industry by wearing Dior.”
