Rihanna talks about style and beauty in the new issue of InStyle magazine. She says that when she was a kid she was a major tomboy who would wear her brother’s baggy boy clothes instead of anything more feminine. Now Rihanna says her sense of style has completely changed from those younger days, talking of her love of knee-high boots and camisoles under jackets. She claims she learned her fashion and beauty sense from her mother:
“She knew everything about perfume, skincare and make-up,” she says. “She never let me wear make-up but I was secretly fascinated, so when she’d leave home, I would play around with hers.” And her surprisingly simple secret to looking fresh-faced even on a grueling world tour? “Water and rest for my skin,” she says.
