Scarlett Johannson Denies Nose Job Claims
A Beverly Hills plastic surgeon says that at least half of the actresses working in Hollywood have undergone some type of cosmetic procedure. According to Us Weekly, Raj Kanodia, the surgeon who has reportedly renovated the noses of Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz, said he thinks about 60% of Hollywood women have had at least some type of plastic surgery, with much of it being unwarranted.
April Webster, who is a casting director agrees, telling the magazine she believes more and more people who don’t need plastic surgery continue to go the knife and are eager to speak candidly about it, something which was once considered taboo.
Scarlett Johansson was quoted last year as saying:
“I definitely believe in plastic surgery. I don’t want to be an old hag. There’s no fun in that.”
That said, Johansson has vehemently denied to OK! magazine she has had surgery on her nose as is being suggested by the piece in Us Weekly:
“I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image and I am very concerned that my fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel mislead. Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action against US Weekly.”
Honestly, I don’t think Scarlett has had a nose job. I agree, her nose looks a little different now than it did a few years ago, but that can be contributed to aging.
