This is something that is equally amazing and confusing – a wedding dress made completely out of toilet paper, tape, and glue!

The designer, Ann Kagawa Lee created the dress for CheapChicWeddings.com which was holding a contest to see who could make the best dress from toilet paper. I’m not sure they were actually expecting something that looks this spectacular!

Granted, a toilet paper dress is obviously wildly impractical. One wrong move and you could rip it. On the other hand, it’s totally recyclable and would come in handy if the bride needed to pee…

All kidding aside though, the designer did a fabulous job with it! I can’t even imagine the work that she must have put into this. She said the design was inspired by the art of origami and Gone With the Wind. The website, upon bestowing the $1000 prize to her said, “Her dress has been compared to an Oscar de la Renta couture gown.”

She totally should have gotten more than $1000 though!
