Although she was reluctant to change too much, Susan Boyle got a much-needed makeover.

The everyday woman with the mind-blowing voice got her hair trimmed and colored, and had her eyebrows tamed as well.

Luckily, it seems that she’s still hanging tight to her insistence that she doesn’t want to get drastic with her appearance. Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden said:

“Whether she knows it or not, she is standing for the average person in the street. I am sure she will comb her hair and have a bit of [lipstick] on. But she won’t be going under the knife or anything like that!”

I’m really happy to hear that. The woman can sing the roof off and, as Amanda said, she’s an icon for regular people. Not everyone looks like a supermodel and she is a prime example that it’s what’s under the surface appearance that really counts.

I like her new look, it’s polished without being ridiculous. What do you think?
