Michelle Obama may be the most stylish First Lady in decades but not even she can escape Tim Gunn’s keen eye for fashion faux pas!

On a segment for the Bonnie Hunt Show, Tim made it quite clear that he was not a fan of Michelle’s bright teal Crocs that she wore recently. He did make a point of calling Michelle one of his fashion icons, but he still hopes that she loses the shoes! He joked that perhaps she was doing some sort of “footwear experiment” and she has now put them aside.

Tim then warned that if Michelle hasn’t decided to retire the dreaded Crocs he may have to stage his first intervention and show up at the White House insisting to be escorted to her closet, presumably to dispose of the offensive footwear himself.
