Tim Gunn, arguably the final word in style, may have just angered an enormous mostly-teen demographic: He declared Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson to be “a little sloppy”.

GASP!

No, but seriously, he’s not wrong. Rob’s still cute, but sloppy definitely covers it. It pretty much defines Rob’s look overall.

Tim was asked what he thought of Rob Pattinson being named Best Dressed Male on People’s list. He seemed a little flustered and unsure how best to put it: “Robert Pattinson…It’s a look. It’s a style. I mean, he could…he could be stunning, but I think it’s a little sloppy for my taste.”

He would have preferred to see George Clooney or Justin Timberlake in the number one spot.

I don’t know. On the one hand I admit there have been times I’ve thought, “for the love of GOD Rob, it’s called a comb!” On the other hand, his lack of primped style IS his style and it works for some strange reason. He’s so disheveled and yet so hot at the same time. I’m not sure how he does it.

But yes. Tim Gunn thinks Rob Pattinson is sloppy. What do you think?
