Tommy Hilfiger Store Now Open in SoHo
The first Hilfiger Denim store located in SoHo, New York City, at 500 Broadway (between Spring and Broome Streets), has a 1970’s feel and includes mod revivals such as mirror balls, Eero Aarnio bubble chairs, vintage posters, library walls and a state-of-the-art DJ booth and sound system (I hear the store also has black leather rugs and black walls – can it be true?).
The fall/winter 2007 Hilfiger Denim collection, the first ever available in America, includes three premium women’s and men’s lines ranging in price from $98.00 to $175.00. Other merchandise available at Hilfiger Denim includes western shirts, cricket sweaters, baseball polos and t-shirts, as well as some vintage items.
A special line of selvedge denim, priced at $250.00 per item, includes – for a limited time - a number of items signed by Tommy, at $375.00.
Take note: Word on the street is that Hilfiger hopes to open up more specialty stores in the States likes this one, including sportswear and childrens wear exclusive shops.
