Tori Spelling looks a little unfortunate at the launch of her new book, Mommywood.

For some reason, Tori wore a shiny green dress, matching the one on her book cover. It would have been okay on St. Patrick’s Day but not really what I would expect at a launch.

With the bright green shade, the one-shoulder style, and the shiny material, this dress is like a cross between a little leprechaun and a prom dress gone bad. Do leprechauns go to prom?

Friend and co-star Jennie Garth showed up for support and I’d venture to guess that her outfit looks better than Tori’s does, but it’s hard to say for sure since she wore black and you can barely see it against the black background. Maybe Tori arranged the photo on purpose. Having Jennie look like a floating head distracts from the fact that Tori’s dress is just downright ugly.
