Victoria’s Secret is sexy – but it may be dangerous
If you’re a fan of the sexy lingerie sold at Victoria’s Secret, well, caveat emptor – buyer beware. According to a lawsuit being filed against the lingerie company, some of the bras can cause rashes and even permanent scarring and the legal team is hoping for a class action suit!
A customer purchased the wildly popular “Angels Secret Embrace” and the “Very Sexy Extreme Push-Up Bra” from Victoria’s Secret, but after a few days of wearing them she noticed her skin itchy. It was all downhill from there as she began to experience red welts that were painful and hot – and not the good hot.
After her lawyers sent the same line of bras to a lab for testing, it turns out that the Victoria’s Secret bras contained formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a substance that a great deal of people are highly allergic to and the legal team states that many women have now claimed to have had similar painful reactions to the same bras.
They’re intending to file a full-blown class action suit.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Victoria’s Secret gave this statement:

Momlogic spoke to a Victoria’s Secret spokeswoman who had the following to say: Millions of women love Victoria’s Secret bras. We have strict quality controls around our products, and we do not use formaldehyde in our bras. Customer safety and satisfaction are always our primary concerns, and we take very seriously any issues our customers may have with our
products.
Oops! Careful before you decide to get a push-up bra from VS right now – you may get more than you bargain for, because it sounds like Victoria’s real secret is a bit painful!
